As more companies rely on consultancies to quickly provide them with necessary tech talent, consulting firms are seeing growth and a need for more tech hirings. Especially considering recent companies’ reductions in workforce (which affected many higher-level roles), consultancies may have become more attractive to executive teams and boards looking to reexamine their organizational structure.

With consultancy demand fluctuating throughout the year due to uncertainty in economic growth, firms have been forced to both add and pare down their staffs; yet the demand for tech professionals to assist with major projects is still strong. The continuing need for tech consulting services and subcontractors has driven greater resilience in tech hiring for consulting than in some other industries.
