Top Employers
Deloitte, Guidehouse and Accenture were the top employers of tech talent from January–June. As artificial intelligence continues to sweep the globe, it’s becoming a high priority for firms, with consultancies making heavy investments in AI. Deloitte is teaming up with the chip maker Nvidia to boost its AI competencies; Accenture is doubling its AI-focused staff and planning to incorporate generative AI into more of its client work.
Consulting firms will need to tap into significant amounts of tech talent to remain on the cutting edge of AI — and improving companies’ tech capabilities more broadly.
The Public Consulting Group, which has directed more of its focus to its public sector digital transformation offerings, also added a steady number of tech job postings, breaking into the top 25 employers list. As more companies look to bolster their information technology infrastructures, consultancies that specialize in IT like Ampcus and Wipro (who also featured in our top 25) saw notable tech hiring growth.
